Roger Frowde

I am aged 66 years, married with five children living on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

I served a five year apprenticeship as a Marine Engine Fitter and Turner followed by nearly thirty years in the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, mainly on traffic duties, with one continuous spell of nine years on motorcycles. I owned and rode numerous Velocette models as young man including MOV, MAC, KSS, VIPER and Venom. I have always owned a motorcycle since gaining my licence. I am now retired.

The details of the attached picture of my Venom are. Reg No. 425 YMC Frame No. RS14049 Engine No. VM 3871 Gearbox No. 12-7345
1948 MAC Reg No. EDR 66 Frame No.5518, Engine No. MAC 12141, Gearbox No. 4-8506 with what looks likes a 6 above. I had great difficulty in finding the frame number which after about three weeks of frustration was located on the lower offside front engine lug. and it matches!
